The Words of Christmas

December 26, 2010

Joy – the feeling one gets when first gathering with one’s family after an extended period of time apart

Merry – how one feels when drinking eggnog or cider with friends – both old and new

Comfort – what one experiences when lounging in pajamas in front of a fireplace with the Christmas tree lights twinkling and the stockings filled to the brim

Love – the feeling one experiences when taking advantage of holiday mistletoe strategically placed in doorways at home and at parties

Peace – the feeling one gets when all the family finally leaves

Word of the Week: Christmas
Word to the Wise:  “Thank God for His Son – His Gift
too wonderful for words.”  II Corinthians 9:15

Disclaimer:  Despite the definition used in this blog, the author did not experience peace from the family parting ways. The definition was only hypothetical, of course.
